This original illustration by Michael Phipps shows an intricate web of branches and roots forming a beautiful tree screen printed onto a necktie. I set out to draw as interesting a tree as I could muster, and after many, many hours this was the result. Lines twist and contort to create this incredibly detailed, gnarled tree. The root system is conveniently exposed and dirt-free for better viewing.
